Our Story
At Pacific Mold Pros, our journey into mold testing and inspection is deeply personal. Lauren’s experience with mold exposure began nearly a decade ago when she lived in two separate Santa Barbara rental homes over a span of 3 years that both had high levels of mold.
These experiences triggered a challenging decades-long healing journey, one that has shaped our understanding of how mold affects not only health but overall well-being. Throughout this time, Lauren and Geoffrey became passionate about helping others navigate the difficult path to recovery from mold exposure.
Geoffrey, a longtime builder, has always understood the complexities of water intrusion and poor construction practices that lead to mold. His expertise in identifying moisture, flashing and ventilation issues has helped shape the foundation of our company and ensure our inspections are thorough and accurate.
Together, our personal experiences and professional backgrounds have given us a unique perspective on the dangers of mold and the difficulty of recovering from exposure.

We're Inspectors,Not Remediators..
At Pacific Mold Pros, we believe in maintaining a clear distinction between inspection and remediation to avoid any conflict of interest. When your inspector is also your remediator, there’s a potential for bias in the findings, which can undermine your trust in the process. While we don’t provide remediation services ourselves, our extensive experience in the field gives us a deep understanding of mold issues and the solutions needed to address them. This allows us to provide you with honest, accurate assessments and actionable advice, while leaving remediation to the experts who specialize in it.
